Parents are strongly encouraged to pay for meals each Monday for the week, 2 weeks, or a month. Cash or checks should be put in a sealed envelope with the child's name, grade, and teacher. If there are multiple children in a school, you can make one check or include all cash for all children and put their names, grade and teacher on the outside of the envelope.

Money is not drawn from a student meal account unless the child eats. Students are given unique identification numbers that they key into a computer that in turn draws the proper amount of money due from the individual student account.

Federal regulations prohibit child nutrition programs from allowing students without money to charge meals. Parents should make every effort to send money to cover all meals and extras that you wish your student to have. If there are any questions about a student meal account, you may call the CNP manager at the school to determine the balance in the student account.

Free & Reduced Lunch Applications: Each child will bring a free and reduced lunch application home from school, but only one application is required for each family. Every member living in the household must be listed on the application.  Students must have their school and grade listed as well. All other information required must be completed. A separate application must be completed for foster children. If you have any questions in completing this application, please call Melva Rodgers at 218-2124. Please return the application to the school as soon as possible.

Breakfast: Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 to 7:30. Menus can be found on the school website, in the Daily Sentinel (weekend edition) and on the Scottsboro's Hometown Channel 10. Cereal is served in addition to the published menu items.

Lunch: For specific class lunch schedules, you may call the school office at 218-2600 or the lunchroom manager at 218-2638.
