I have taught public school for 27 years.  I have taught second and third grade but, first grade has always been where my heart is.  I enjoy working with the students and keeping up with new research and educational trends. 

I am married to Tom Hargrove.  He is a Mechanical Engineer and is self-employed.  We moved to Scottsboro in 1998.  Scottsboro has always been home to me but was definitely knew for a Tuscaloosa native!  During the past fifteen years, however, Tom has learned to call North Alabama his home too!  Tom and I enjoy Alabama football, trips to the beach, and walking our two dogs, Otis and Foster.
