My Favorite Description of Character

Many people are surprised to learn that elementary schools have school counselors.  As the school counselor, I teach weekly lessons in each classroom.  Guidance topics can include self-control, feelings, conflict resolution, friendship, study skills, and character education (just to name a few).  I also offer individual support for students and parents when needed.
