The purpose of Scottsboro City Schools is to maximize the learning of all students. Mission Statement: Students at Nelson Elementary will be engaged in an academically rich environment which allows all students to achieve at their maximum learning potential in a safe and nurturing atmosphere. Nelson Elementary is dedicated to the potential of every student by enabling them to become a productive member of society.
